DUKE OF YORK'S
St Martin's Lane WC2

Designed in 1892 by Walter Emden and associated with the playwrights Ibsen, Shaw, Galsworthy and Granville Barker, but most of all with Peter Pan who was here every year for a decade 1904-1914.

Decor: Foyer with mosaic porch containing box office. Charming, pink auditorium with deep curving circles. Corinthian pilasters, swathed boxes and matt gold baroque details in the plasterwork.
