| Professor Henry Higgins is an expert on
phonetics: he can determine someone's place of birth by listening to
their accent and teach a student how to speak in flawless English. But
when his friend Colonel Pickering bets him that he cannot teach Covent
Garden flower seller, Eliza Doolittle, how to speak so eloquently that
she could pass for a duchess at a ball, he may just get more than he
