Peter and Frances Hunter are devoted newly-weds who become the innocent recipients of a growing flood of pornography. Their frantic efforts to rid themselves of the stuff under the noses of highly respectable acquaintances provide the basic comedy situation. The dialogue is disappointingly pedestrian, but this is amply compensated for by plenty of swift action, particularly in the second act, when the various characters move in and out of numerous doors with bewildering rapidity, each "near miss" heightening the comedy in the best traditions of farce.
